03/04/09 - Masters Named Sustainability Manager Alcan Composites USA is pleased to announce that Joseph N. Masters has been named sustainability manager for all of the company’s business segments, including furniture, construction, architectural, industry/transport and graphic display. Additionally, Masters will serve as marketing manager for the company’s graphic display business. Alcan Composites USA is committed to ensuring that the company’s ecological footprints are small and green. In his role as sustainability manager for all market segments, Masters will be communicating with Alcan Composites’ customers on a regular basis through a new sustainability initiative entitled Care & Conserve™, which assesses the company’s entire supply chain from raw materials to disposal. As part of his sustainability responsibilities, Masters serves on the International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) Environmental Committee. Joseph N. Masters has been named sustainability manager for all of Alcan Composites USA business segments In his role as marketing manager for the graphic display market, Masters will be responsible for advertising, public relations, sales tools and electronic media for this business segment. Additionally, he will coordinate all market research. Masters has worked for Alcan the past three years as marketing manager for the architectural business. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Mo., and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
